Richard J. Seibert, MA, M.Ed., designs and delivers training on leadership and service delivery for the Department of the Navy. Seibert received his master’s degree in exercise physiology from the University of Maryland, and later received a second master’s degree in education from the University of Massachusetts at Boston in instructional design. He has combined these two disciplines to write study guides and articles, and create training programs for fitness professionals. Seibert has been teaching group fitness classes since 1987 and has presented at fitness conventions around the world. As special projects manager for ACE, he designed and delivered portions of ACE’s Group Exercise Practical Training Program.
