Paula Charest Lilly is the co-founder of the Cancer Wellfit Program at the Santa Barbara Athletic Club and has designed, implemented, and administered over 200 Wellfit exercise classes over the past 12 years. Lilly is currently the director of personal training at the Santa Barbara Athletic Club and continues to oversee and run the hands-on portion of the Cancer Wellfit Program.

Amy Litterini, PT, DPT, received a master’s of physical therapy degree from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh and a doctorate of physical therapy degree from Simmon College in Boston. She has presented locally and nationally in the United States on the topic of oncology rehabilitation for the American Physical Therapy Association, IHRSA, and as an educator for rehabilitation therapists. Currently, Litterini serves as the cancer wellness coordinator for the Center for Cancer Care at Exeter Hospital, where she is conducting research on the benefits of exercise in cancer care.

Julie Main has been in the health and fitness business since 1987. She has worked at the Santa Barbara Athletic Club for that entire time, as a bookkeeper, pro shop buyer, program administrator, and general manager for the past 11 years. She is also the oversight manager of Cathedral Oaks Athletic Club in Goleta, California, and the managing general partner of The Hills Swim and Tennis Club in Oakland, California, The Ojai Valley Athletic Club in Ojai, California, and The Avila Bay Athletic Club in Avila Beach, California. In 2004-2005, she served as the president of IHRSA’s board of directors, and is currently serving as an ex-officio member on that board.
