Technical FAQs

There are three main ways to find a product on the Coaches Choice website:
Author, Title, and keyword or phrase.
You can enter any of these search criteria into the search field located at the top right of the Website.

Once the search ends, a list of results will appear for you to select from.

To refine this list, enter more specific information into the search for field or use the other advanced search fields as shown above.
You can search specifically by an author’s first and/or last name which will provide a list of authors for you to choose from.

At this time Coaches Choice downloads only will play within a PC environment using Windows Media Player. Mac viewing is in the works and coming soon.

After you have purchased your download you will receive an email at the email address associated with the order, with a download link and instructions for downloading your video.

You may register your download on up to two separate computers. There is a limit of two. The first time you download a video you will be asked to install the Coaches Choice Download Orders application. This application will add a license to your computer(s) and allow you to view your downloaded video.

There are two ways to get assistance with your download(s). You can call our customer support department at 888-229-5745 during our regular California-center business hours or you can email our customer support department at support@coacheschoice.com.
When you email or call, please provide the following information so we can expedite your request:

  • Order number
  • Name on order
  • Title(s) you need assistance with
  • Best way and time to contact you (i.e. phone or email)
  • Phone number
  • Email address.

On the computer you initially downloaded your video to; please follow the steps below to re-acquire your download:

Go to the Control Panel >Add & Remove Programs* and locate:
"Coaches Choice Download Orders"

  1. Within the list of programs and chose the option to remove or uninstall the program.
    * Note: Windows 7 operating system, you will need to go to Control Panel>Programs>Uninstall Program and then follow the instructions below.
  2. Do a search within your computer to locate the file c:\cc_data\data.xml. Once the file has been found, delete the file from your computer.
  3. Once you have uninstalled/removed the program and deleted the file, restart your computer.
  4. Once the computer has restarted, open your email and locate the most recent download email from Coaches Choice, and click the download link to re-download the Coaches Choice Download Orders software. Once the download starts, any videos you have purchased for download will load for download.

If you have purchased a large number of downloads, the download process will take some time to complete. During the downloading process you can still use your computer for other tasks but you may experience a delay in speed or performance of your computer and/or internet connection. Please allow the software plenty of time to complete its processing.

The first step to finding your download(s) is doing a search within your computer. You can search your computer for your download by the title of the video purchased. If the download is not found within your computer, follow the steps below to re-download.

You can log on to the website. Click on my account on the top right corner. In the middle of the page you will see a view download link. When you click on it, it will take you to a page with all your orders. On the far right you will see a download button. Follow the prompts.

Uninstall the coaches choice download application. Log on to website and re-download. (50-50 chance this will fix the error).

Did you see the log in box? (No) Move the download application to the right and behind it you will see a log in dialogue, use the same information that you use to log in to the website, under computer name write a description of where the computer is located. Follow the rest of the prompts and you should see your videos on the application.

We are sorry but you are only able to download the video to two separate computers. (Sometimes their computers die or they get a new one, we are unable to reset accounts so we mail them out the DVD).
